每只兔子需要2平米左右的空間居住并且這種空間也能讓兔子在里面得到充分的運(yùn)動，市面所售的松鼠籠、大型的鳥籠、貓用的籠子都可利用?；\子內(nèi)也可以擺下一個(gè)兔子的專用廁所，有的兔子天生就保持良好的衛(wèi)生習(xí)慣，在指定的角落排泄，有的兔子則需要后天訓(xùn)練來養(yǎng)成良好的衛(wèi)生習(xí)慣。

4、繁殖：

兔子出生后8個(gè)月左右，性發(fā)育成熟，當(dāng)雌兔出現(xiàn)煩躁不安的現(xiàn)象是發(fā)情的征兆。交尾后雄兔會發(fā)出高亢的叫聲而昏迷，雌兔懷孕后應(yīng)與雄兔分開。在籠內(nèi)鋪設(shè)稻草或其他干草，并用布將籠子圍起，盡量不要碰觸，讓雌兔保持安靜穩(wěn)定。一胎可產(chǎn)下5～6只小兔，食物或飲水不足時(shí)母兔可能吃掉小兔，經(jīng)過30天左右小兔即可離巢。
