長毛兔對環(huán)境敏感，圈舍需干燥通風。南方潮濕地區(qū)用竹制漏糞板加干草鋪墊，北方冬季室溫低于 5℃時加裝保溫燈（距籠 30 厘米以上防燙傷）。成年兔單籠面積少 0.8 ，避免擁擠導致毛發(fā)打結(jié)。
Long haired rabbits are sensitive to the environment, and their pens need to be dry and ventilated. In humid areas of the south, bamboo manure boards are used with hay bedding. In winter in the north, when the room temperature is below 5 ℃, insulation lamps are installed (more than 30 centimeters away from the cage to prevent burns). Adult rabbits should have a minimum cage area of 0.8 square meters to avoid crowding and hair tangling.

Adult rabbits are fed with an unlimited amount of Timothy grass every day, and 50 grams of refined feed are added in the morning and evening respectively (corn meal 20%, soybean meal 15%, bran 30%, alfalfa meal 30%, bone meal 3%, and salt 2%). Young rabbits can add alfalfa grass, while adult rabbits need to reduce it to prevent stones.

Adult rabbits are combed three times a week, and during the molting period, they are combed daily. A needle comb is used to remove the surface layer, and a comb is used to comb the bottom layer. Knots need to be torn open with fingers before combing. Dry the collected rabbit fur and store it in breathable cloth bags.
盡量不洗澡，沾染油污時用 38℃溫水加寵物沐浴露，速洗速干。梳理時撒少量玉米淀粉揉搓后再梳，去浮塵更。
